Uncle’s to close Fallston restaurant at end of year

FALLSTON, MD—A restaurant in the Fallston area will be shuttering at the end of the year.

Uncle’s, located next to Horizon Cinemas in Fallston, has announced that it will be closing its doors on December 31 and it will transition to a catering company.

The full announcement reads as follows:

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to close the doors at Uncle’s at the end of the year. December 31, 2024, will be our last service. Beginning in January, Uncle’s will no longer be a brick & mortar restaurant but will continue on as a catering company.

It has been our privilege to share Hawaiian food and culture with Harford County and beyond over the last 8 years. We have met so many amazing people along the way… kind and supportive clientele, talented local farmers and hard-working vendors, and above all else our restaurant family of staff that have contributed their time and efforts to making Uncle’s an Ohana. We have enjoyed a truly one-of-a-kind staff that treats our guests as well as each other with love and respect. We have grown tremendously as individuals and as a team.

Thank you to our leaders for steering the ship through 8 years of business. Thank you to our families for supporting us and our crazy restaurant lives.

This is a monumentally difficult decision for our restaurant family. Thank you to everyone for supporting us and our staff over the last 8 years, and especially now over the course of this December. We promise to maintain our standard of food, drink and aloha until our very last day. Come out and have one more Spam Musubi, one more Uncle’s Mix Plate and one more laugh with our staff. We will make more announcements soon about events in December.

Thank you to the Harford County community for all your support during our time as Uncle’s. We live in this county, we believe in this county, and we love this county. We will be back to provide our brand of Honed Hospitality in Harford County sometime in the future.

Mahalo and Aloha,
The Uncle’s Ohana
