PERRY HALL, MD—An overpass in Perry Hall will be dedicated to a fallen hero next week.

In 2018, Officer Amy Caprio of the Baltimore County Police tragically lost her life in the line of duty. To honor her courage, dedication, and sacrifice, the Southfield Homeowners Association has collaborated with Baltimore County to dedicate the overpass crossing Honeygo Boulevard at Honeygo Regional Park in her memory.

The dedication ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Baltimore County leadership, representatives from the Parkville Precinct, members of the Caprio family, and others will be in attendance. The ceremony is open to all who wish to pay their respects and honor Officer Caprio’s legacy.
