BOWLEYS QUARTERS, MD—Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Rescue & Marine officials have announced the passing of Chaplain Joyce Elder.

“Joyce was a faithful servant and strong leader in our organization,” BQVFRM officials said in a statement last week. “Joyce served in many capacities. President, Board Chairman, Secretary, Special Events Coordinator, and more. Perhaps most noted for her faithfulness to God serving as our current Chaplain.”

“We will miss Joyce and remember her for her service always,” BQVFRM concluded.
