TOWSON, MD—On Tuesday evening, the Baltimore County Police Department celebrated the outstanding achievements of its members, “whose dedication and commitment to upholding the highest standards of service have significantly enhanced the safety and security of communities throughout Baltimore County,” the department said in a statement.

“This I extend my deepest gratitude to all our award recipients for their tireless efforts, bravery, and commitment to the safety and well-being of each other and our community,” said Chief Robert O. McCullough. “These qualities bring great honor to this Department.”

The Baltimore County Police Department announced the recipients of its 2024 Departmental Awards, which include the Medal of Honor, Silver Star, Commendation, Purple Heart, Emergency Service, Distinguished Citizen’s Award, and Citizen’s Award of Valor.
