PARKVILLE, MD—The Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation will be holding an open house next week to discuss the proposed East-West trail that would run along Hiss Avenue in Parkville toward Lillian Holt Drive.
The meeting will be held 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. on (edit: this meeting has been postponed) at the Parkville Middle School library.
The open house will cover design plans for the proposed multi-use West-East Trail. The proposed West-East trail will be an on-road facility approximately three miles in length. It will begin at Hiss Avenue and Harford Road and end at Lillian Holt Drive.
This trail will connect communities and residents on Harford Road and Belair Road, allow entry to Double Rock Park from the east entrance for the communities on Belair Road, and connect all these communities to the proposed North East Trail and on to White Marsh.
The project will add road markings and signage to create the trail.
Parkville Middle School is located at 8711 Avondale Road (21234).
