Crews to repair pavement on Harford Road in Baltimore County, Route 24 in Harford County

BALTIMORE, MD—The Maryland State Highway Administration will begin repairing pavement on MD 147 (Harford Road) between Notchcliff Road and Long Green Pike in Glen Arm, Baltimore County. Crews will also improve MD 24 (Emmorton Road) between north of the Aberdeen Proving Ground – Edgewood Area South Gate and MD 755 (Edgewood Road) in Harford County beginning on Monday, November 18th.

Both pavement improvement projects should be complete by late-December, weather permitting.



Drivers can expect daily single-lane closures between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Motorists using both roads during construction will be guided by a flagging operation.

Drivers are reminded to stay alert, focus on driving, and look for reduced speed limits as well as other traffic pattern changes.
