BALTIMORE, MD—A meteor burned up in Earth’s atmosphere on Monday evening creating a magnificent fireball in the skies over Maryland, Pennsylvania, and other states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
The fireball occurred at just after 7:45 p.m. EST on November 11, 2024 and resulted in over 230 reports to the American Meteor Society.
Reports immediately began pouring in from Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
