Triple shooting in Essex leaves 1 dead

ESSEX, MD—One person is dead and two are injured following a triple shooting in Essex on Saturday.

The shooting occurred at just after 3 p.m. on November 9, 2024 in the 900-block of Bayner Road (21221).



When officers arrived at the scene, they located an adult male outside the location suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers and medics attempted to provide medical aid; however, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has not yet been identified.

Two other gunshot wound victims were treated at area hospitals for their non-life-threatening injuries.
