KINGSVILLE, MD—Butcher & Bay by Geresbeck’s has announced details on its grand opening in Kingsville.

The new shop is located in the space left behind after Greene’s Butcher Shop closed following the passing of its owner, John Greene, over the summer.

Butcher & Bay will hold a grand opening from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024, with a ribbon-cutting set for 1:00 p.m.

Butcher & Bay will be the fourth location for Geresbeck’s, which marks a new concept based on top quality local meats and seafood. Geresbeck’s expanded to Baltimore County years ago at their iconic location on Eastern Avenue in Middle River. A family-owned and operated business, Geresbeck’s has won many accolades over the years, most recently winning Best Local Grocery Store, Best Local Produce, Best Local Seafood, and Best Scratch Bakery.

The grand opening event in Kingsville will include free oysters shucked in the parking lot, sampling, and special deals all day. The new shop is located at 12037 Belair Road in Kingsville.
