Baltimore area breaks record for consecutive days with no precipitation

BALTIMORE, MD—A weather record has fallen.

The National Weather Service says the Baltimore area has broken the longest streak of consecutive days with no measurable precipitation at Baltimore (BWI) & Dulles (IAD).

Records could be set at Washington DC and Martinsburg Airport later this week.

Forecasters say the Baltimore area could see some rain showers on Wednesday or Thursday, with highs approaching 80 degrees on Wednesday, before things dry out again to begin the weekend.
