PIKESVILLE, MD—Police are investigating after a teenager was shot and killed in Baltimore County on Sunday.

At just after 2 p.m. on October 27, 2024, officers responded to the 1700-block of Reisterstown Road in Pikesville for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim who sustained a gunshot wound.

The 16-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital, where they were pronounced deceased. This appears to be an isolated incident involving subjects who were known to each other.

Detectives continue to investigate this shooting. They are asking anyone with information about this case to contact 410-307-2020.
