PARKTON, MD—Crews are on the scene of a serious crash on Interstate 83 in Baltimore County.

The crash was reported at just before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, along northbound I-83 at the York Road exit (Exit 33).

Northbound I-83 has been shut down at York Road.  Serious injuries have been reported and HazMat crews are on the scene.

Motorists should expect heavy delays on I-83 northbound.
