BALTIMORE, MD—Thursday got off to a chilly, record-breaking start in the Baltimore area.
At BWI-Marshall Airport, the overnight low temperature of 32 degrees broke the old record for October 17 of 33 degrees that was set back in 1982.
Forecasters say this was the earliest freeze at BWI since 2006 (October 13).
Things should turn milder this weekend, with highs in the mid-70s expected by Sunday and Monday.
