Police responding to barricade situation in northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD—Police are responding to a barricade situation in northeast Baltimore.

At just before 5 p.m. on Thursday evening, October 17, the Baltimore Police Department said officers were on the scene of a barricade in the 5200-block of Greenhill Avenue (21206).



Several streets in the immediate area are closed to traffic and residents are being asked to stay indoors.

SWAT is on the scene as well and authorities say more information will be provided as it becomes available.

Motorists should avoid the area.
