PARKVILLE, MD—Crews responded to a truck fire outside of Parkville High School on Tuesday morning.

Due to an asphalt truck fire outside the school building, officials say Parkville High School will be closed on October 8th.

There will be no after-school or evening activities at Parkville High School.  The Magnet Expo has also been cancelled.

There has been no word on any injuries.
