MIDDLE RIVER, MD—In observance of World Mental Health Day on Thursday, October 10, Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Middle River is inviting the community to its first-ever special St. Dymphna mass, led by Father Patrick Besel.

The event will take place at 7:00 p.m. and will mark the launch of the parish’s new Mental Health Ministry, aimed at supporting individuals and families dealing with mental health issues.

A gathering will follow the mass for those interested in learning more about the ministry and how to get involved.

Church officials say that this special mass and the Mental Health Ministry launch offer a faith-based response to mental health challenges, providing spiritual and emotional support to those in need.
