Councilman Marks: Environmental Department studying Orbitan Court stream valley in Carney

CARNEY, MD—Baltimore County Councilman David Marks is alerting residents of Carney’s Orbitan Court about survey work related to an assessment of the stream valley.

The Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability is conducting an assessment of the stream valley behind the homes. Residents may see the design consultant (McCormick Taylor, Inc.) and their survey team (CV, Inc.) working in the vicinity of the stream.

Please contact Jena Smolko at 410-887-4009 with any questions, or reach out to [email protected] or [email protected].

“Our office has pushed for action here for several years, as the stream valley has eroded significantly,” said Councilman Marks. “I appreciate the county following through as we work towards a solution.”
