Body found in Gwynn Oak Park

GWYNN OAK, MD—The body of an unidentified man was recovered from the waters of Gwynn Oak Park on Thursday, and homicide detectives have been requested to investigate the body’s condition.

According to a press release, Baltimore County Police responded to the area of Gwynn Oak Park at approximately 9:15 a.m. on September 26 after receiving reports of a swift water rescue.



When officers arrived at the location, they determined that the man was deceased based on the condition of his body.

It took until 11:45 a.m. to safely remove the man’s body from the water due to the location in which it was found. Police have not yet released the victim’s identity.
