ROSEDALE, MD—Earlier this month, the Amy Caprio Classic event was held in Rosedale to raise money for BARCS.

The third annual powerlifting competition was held at Exile Fitness on Saturday, September 21st.

On Friday, September 27, Officer Joshua Phipps presented BARCS with a check for $20,000.

The event is organized by Baltimore County Police Department Officer Phipps and his wife Brianne, and the fundraiser is held in honor of hero, Officer Amy Caprio, who was killed in the line of duty in 2018.

Funds raised benefited BARCS Animal Shelter, a cause that was dear to Officer Caprio’s heart.
