Two arrested following police pursuit, shelter-in-place in Fullerton

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Two people have been arrested following a police pursuit in Nottingham, police say.

At just before 8:15 p.m. on Monday, September 16, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle that failed to stop for Maryland State Police.

Authorities say once they located the vehicle in the Fullerton area, the occupants bailed out and fled on foot. A foot pursuit ensued and police say shots were fired by the suspects in the area of Belair Beltway Plaza along Belair Road.

A shelter-in-place was activated and has since been lifted. The suspects have not yet been identified.  The investigation remains ongoing.
