Fullerton residents asked to shelter-in-place after shots fired

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are asking residents in the Fullerton area to shelter-in-place following reports of shots fired.

Police say residents in the area of Belair Road, Fitch Avenue, and Rossville Boulevard (21236) should remain indoors until further notice.

At just before 9 p.m. on Monday evening, witnesses tell NottinghamMD.com that two suspects fired shots at officers near the Belair Beltway Plaza shopping center and then fled into the woods.

There is currently a heavy police presence in the area.

Police say additional information will be released once it becomes available.
