ESSEX, MD—Crews are on the scene of a crash involving a train and a four-wheeler in Essex.

At around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday night, two subjects were struck by an Amtrak train while riding ATVs on the tracks near the unit block of Schaffers Road (21221).

Amtrak says trains between Wilmington and Baltimore are currently delayed. Some MARC train service has also been disrupted.

An investigation is currently under way.
