AMC Theatres in White Marsh evacuated following phone threat

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police say the AMC Theatres on THE AVENUE at White Marsh has been temporarily evacuated and closed due to a telephone threat.

At just before 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, officers from responded to AMC Theaters located in the 8100-block of Honeygo Blvd. (21236) for a telephone threat.

Responding officers were informed that an unknown person had called a threat into the theater. Although the caller was not specific about the threat, the theater was evacuated out of an abundance of caution.

This incident is actively being investigated.
