ESSEX, MD—Baltimore Gas and Electric will install a four-mile power cable on Saturday, September 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Drivers can expect a right-lane and shoulder closure of the two-lane ramp from the inner loop and outer loop of I-695 near the MD 702 interchange in Essex.

Drivers should stay to the left to access both directions of I-695. The single-lane ramp closures on both loops will be in effect the entire day. Drivers should plan additional drive time during the work hours.

Motorists should stay alert, focus on driving, and look for reduced speed limits as well as other traffic pattern changes.
