Philadelphia Road shut down due to rescue in Joppa after worker becomes trapped in hole

JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a technical rescue in the Joppa area.

At around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, emergency personnel responded to the 1400-block of Philadelphia Road after a concrete truck occupant became stuck in a 10-foot hole, according to the Harford Fire Blog.



The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reports that Philadelphia Road is currently closed between Clayton Road and Blossom Drive.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
