ROSEDALE, MD—An annual fundraiser organized by a Baltimore County police officer and his wife will take place in Rosedale later this month.

The third annual Amy Caprio Classic weightlifting competition at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Exile Fitness.

The annual event is organized by Baltimore County Police Department Officer Joshua Phipps and his wife Brianne, and the fundraiser is held in honor of hero, Officer Amy Caprio, who was killed in the line of duty in 2018.

Funds raised benefit BARCS Animal Shelter, a cause that was dear to Officer Caprio’s heart.
