Stabbing in Baltimore County leaves woman dead

CATONSVILLE, MD—Homicide detectives have charged a suspect with first-degree murder following a stabbing that occurred in Baltimore County over the weekend.

Brianna Jarrells, 29, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a 31-year-old woman.



The stabbing happened in the 5600-block of Wilkens Avenue (21228) at around 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, August 25, police said. When officers arrived, they found the injured woman and took her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Authorities say the incident was isolated and that the suspects knew each other.

Jerrells is being held without bail.
