BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service says scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible in the Baltimore area on Monday.
Forecasters says scattered storms moving southeast from western Pennsylvania may move into the Baltimore area anytime between now and 8 p.m.
Not everyone will see rain or storms today, however. Wherever storms do develop, the main threats include damaging winds, brief heavy rain, and frequent lightning. Storms will likely diminish after 8 p.m.
A Code Orange Air Quality Alert is also in effect in the Baltimore area on Monday.
