ROSEDALE, MD—Police say a motorcycle crash in the Rosedale area left one man dead on Sunday.

On August 25, 2024, detectives responded to the 8700-block of Philadelphia Road (21237) following reports of a single-vehicle crash.

When police arrived, they found that a man had sustained fatal injuries after the 2024 Can-Am Ryker he was riding lost control and traveled into a wooded area, where the vehicle struck a tree.

The operator was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim has not yet been identified.

This case remains part of an open investigation.
