Baltimore County Public Library to temporarily close Rosedale Storyville for renovations

ROSEDALE, MD—The Baltimore County Public Library will be closing the Storyville at its Rosedale Branch for extensive renovations that will include painting, new carpeting, and upgraded art.

The renovations are scheduled to begin on August 30th and will last until September 21st.

These will be the first refurbishments since Storyville opened in 2010, in which time, the area has welcomed nearly 700,000 visitors. The branch will remain open during renovations and the Storyville at the Woodlawn Branch is also available to families.

The renovations are part of an effort by the Baltimore County Public Library to maintain a 21st-century library standard and to provide a safe and comfortable space for people to explore, learn, create, and connect.
