LUTHERVILLE, MD—Crews on the scene of a crash along I-695 near the Towson area.

The crash was reported at around 2 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2024 on the outer loop of the Baltimore Beltway near the I-83 interchange.

The Maryland State Highway Administration reports that the I-695 outer loop has been shut down prior to the Falls Road exit.  One lane along the inner loop is also closed.

There has been no word on any injuries.  Heavy delays are present.  Motorists should use an alternate route.
