BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a second Tornado Watch for the Baltimore area as the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby move through the region.
The original Tornado Watch expired at 7 a.m. The new watch will be in effect through 2 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024.
Several Tornado Warnings have already been issued across the state on Friday morning. Downed trees, flooding, and power outages remain possible throughout the day.
Residents should remain weather-aware and stay tuned to local forecasts.
