FATAL CRASH: Dump truck strikes construction worker while backing up on I-95

JOPPA, MD—One lane of southbound I-95 was closed on Tuesday morning following a fatal crash involving a dump truck and a construction worker in Harford County.

Maryland State Police say troopers were dispatched to the area of southbound I-95 near Mountain Road for reports of a crash involving a dump truck and a pedestrian at around 8:30 a.m. on August 6th. Troopers say that while the dump truck was backing up, it struck a worker for unknown reasons.
