NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are on the scene of a barricade situation in the Perry Hall/Nottingham area.

At just before noon on Tuesday, August 6, the Baltimore County Police Department reported that a barricade situation was unfolding in the 9200-block of Belair Road (21236). Route 1 is shut down in both directions.

Residents who live in the area are being asked to stay indoors as authorities work to peacefully resolve the incident.
