ROSEDALE, MD—Crews responded to an apartment fire in the Rosedale area on Wednesday afternoon.

The fire broke out at just after 4:30 p.m. on Just 31 in in the unit block of Serpens Court (21237).

Firefighters arrived to fire coming from a second floor apartment.  The blaze was placed under control at around 4:45 p.m.

Officials say a 19-month-old child suffered life-threatening injuries, an 11-year-old child has serious injuries, and a 19-year-old sustained minor injuries.

There has been no word on what caused the fire.
