Suspect arrested after pointing gun at another driver in I-895 road rage incident

BALTIMORE, MD—Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police officers have arrested an Anne Arundel County man following an assault with a firearm that occurred in June on I-895 in Baltimore City.

During the investigation, authorities learned that the driver of a red Ford SUV pointed a handgun at another driver on southbound I-895 near Potee Street (Exit 7) at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18.



Investigators identified 33-year-old Caleb J. Catoe of Crownsville as a suspect. After a thorough investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant charging Catoe with first degree assault, reckless endangerment, and other charges.

Officers arrested Catoe on Tuesday morning and he was transported to the Jennifer Road Detention Center without incident.
