Man arrested for fatal Dundalk shooting

DUNDALK, MD—A man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in Dundalk last month, Baltimore County police say.

Detectives say 27-year-old Deandre Stokes was also charged with other firearms-related charges for the July 1 shooting in the 7700 block of Gough Street (21224).

Officers from the Dundalk Precinct responded to the area for a shots fired call just after 10 p.m. Stokes was found outside with multiple gunshot wounds. Jamel Nation, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.

Stokes is being held in the Baltimore County Detention Center.
