FALLSTON, MD—Funeral arrangements have been announced for a retired Baltimore police officer and Harford County volunteer firefighter.
Timothy A. “Tim” Holt, an Iraq War veteran, died July 3 of a stroke at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. The Bel Air resident was 57 years old.
Tim was born in Baltimore and grew up in Fallston. He attended Youth’s Benefit Elementary School, Fallston Middle School, and graduated from Fallston High School in 1985. He continued his education at Essex Community College and Harford Community College studying Criminal Justice. He was an athlete growing up, excelling in swimming, football, and lacrosse.
In 1982, he joined the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company and continued to serve the Fallston and surrounding communities as a volunteer for nearly 40 years. During this time, he served as firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician, as well as numerous officer positions, including Safety Officer and Fire Captain.
As family, friends, fire service, and law enforcement personnel prepare to pay final respects to Past Captain and Safety Officer Holt, Carrs Mill Road in the Fallston area will see increased traffic activity.
Gatherings will be held at Fallston Volunteer Fire & Ambulance Company 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23; 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24; and 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, at Fallston Volunteer Fire & Ambulance Company.
Traffic along Carrs Mill Road will likely be affected during these times.
