Baltimore man sentenced for illegal firearm possession

BALTIMORE, MD—The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland has announced that 36-year-old Jermaine Washington, of Baltimore, was sentenced to four years in prison on July 19 for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Washington was previously convicted of armed robbery in 2006 and 2013, according to the news release. He was convicted of armed robbery in 2006 and 2013, and had an outstanding state arrest warrant for domestic assault when Baltimore Police stopped him near the 1700 block of Ramsay Street on May 6, 2022 for a traffic violation.
