SPARROWS POINT, MD—Police are investigating after a woman was shot in Sparrows Point over the weekend.

At just after 2 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, officers responded to the 6500-block of North Point Road (21219) for a report of a shooting.

Once on scene, authorities located an adult female who had sustained a gunshot wound.  She was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
