NOTTINGHAM, MD—Classic ’80s film “The NeverEnding Story” is returning to theaters for its 40th anniversary.
“The NeverEnding Story” tells the story of Bastian (Barret Oliver) who, on his way to school one day, ducks into a bookstore to avoid bullies. Sneaking away with a book called “The NeverEnding Story,” Bastian begins reading it in the school attic. The novel is about Fantasia, a fantasy land threatened by “The Nothing,” a darkness that destroys everything it touches. The kingdom needs the help of a human child to survive. When Bastian reads a description of himself in the book, he begins to wonder if Fantasia is real and needs him to survive.
The movie will be showing at Towson Cinemark, AMC Loews White Marsh, and other local theaters on Sunday, July 21 and Monday, July 22.
Tickets information and showtimes are available online at Fathom Events.
