Wires down, roadways flooded with rescues in progress as storms roll through area

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Wednesday evening’s storms are wreaking havoc on local roadways, with wires down and several rescues under way.

Pulaski Highway at Rosedale Avenue in Rosedale is flooded with several people trapped in their vehicles, according to the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company.

Eastern Boulevard is closed in both directions between White Marsh Boulevard and Martin Boulevard due to live power lines down across the roadway.

A crash has been reported on Campbell Boulevard between Philadelphia Road and Franklin Square Drive.

Multiple vehicles are reportedly stuck in a flooded roadway on Northpoint Road near Kane Street and Pulaski Highway near Erdman Avenue in Baltimore City.

Motorists are advised to “turn around, don’t drown” when approaching flooded roadways.
