BALTIMORE, MD—Extreme heat and humidity will continue on Wednesday in the Baltimore area, along with the threat for showers and thunderstorms.
Some storms may be severe, especially along and east of the Blue Ridge.
A Flood Watch is in effect for the Baltimore-DC corridor for the potential for flash flooding later on Wednesday.
A Heat Advisory is also in effect until 8 p.m. with heat index values expected to reach 105 degrees.
