EDGEWOOD, MD—Crews responded to a house fire in the Edgewood area on Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported at around 8:30 a.m. on July 16 in the 300-block of Canoe Lane.

Firefighters rescued one occupant from the structure.  No other injuries were reported, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
