Police say a woman was shot multiple times early on July 15 near Avondale Road and Cedar Avenue.

The woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers responded to the 300-block of Sollers Point at just after 3 a.m. and found the woman with multiple gunshot wounds.  Detectives later determined that the woman had been shot in the area of Avondale Road and Cedar Avenue.

A suspect was arrested and will be identified after a bail hearing.
