BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Tuesday in the Baltimore area.
The advisory will be in effect from noon to 8 p.m. on July 9, 2024. Forecasters say heat index values of up to 107 degrees are expected.
Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses to occur. Overnight conditions will remain warm and humid so residents should continue to find ways to stay cool and hydrated.
Citizens should drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.
