ESSEX, MD—Motorists are being asked to find an alternate route due to police activity in the Essex area.

At just before 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, the Baltimore County Police Department said motorists were being asked to avoid Eastern Avenue between Route 702 and Old Eastern Avenue.

No further details have been released.
