BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Baltimore area.

The watch will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Forecasters say hail, frequent lightning, and wind gusts of up to 60 mph are possible.

Residents should stay weather-aware throughout the evening.
