BALTIMORE, MD—The brief respite from intense summer heat will come to an end in the Baltimore area on Wednesday.

Dry conditions continue on Tuesday with temperatures creeping up into the low 90s. More heat arrives on Wednesday along with the potential for severe thunderstorms.  Some storms could become severe, according to the National Weather Service.

Drier conditions finish out the work week before more showers arrive over the weekend.
