FBI seeking potential victims of Baltimore cyberstalker

BALTIMORE, MD—The FBI’s Baltimore Field Office is seeking to identify potential victims of Richard Michael Roe, who was recently indicted on charges of cyberstalking under federal law for making harassing phone calls and sending harassing text messages and emails.

The FBI’s investigation revealed, and the charges allege, that Roe cyberstalked multiple victims over the course of a year by means of multiple phone calls and texts a day.

The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying potential victims who may have been harassed by Roe. The FBI believes Roe targeted approximately six individuals and two businesses from December 2019 until January 2021.

Roe has used spoofed phone numbers and email accounts to contact victims.

If you and/or anyone you know were victimized by Roe, or if you have information relevant to this investigation, please fill out this short online form. You may also contact FBI Baltimore at [email protected].
